Dina DeJacomo

Dina is an alumnus of Today's Dance Center who was an active member of TDC's Dance Company. During her time at TDC, Dina performed and competed for top honors. She was a principle dancer an d a soloist whom acquired numerous awards and recognition. Dina also has an extensive summer study resume. Ms. Dejacomo was a charter member of our Senior Dance Team and is pursuing a degree in dance from Monclair State University.


Lindsay Crosby

Miss Crosby began her dance training with TDC at 10 years old. During this time, she studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop & Modern dance. Lindsay was a charter member of our 1st Senior Dance Team, which won many honors & high awards for their performances. Presently, Miss Crosby is a full-time student at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ studying Psychology. She is a member of their Dance Team and is currently Secretary & Dance Captain of the team. Lindsay plans to continue on for her Masters Degree.

Courtney Gibbs 

Courtney graduated from Today's Dance Center in 1998 at thirteen and went on to train at the National Ballet of Canada. She was a member of TDC's Dance Company from 1995-1998. During this time, she had been awarded many special awards & titles for Top Jr. Soloist. Miss Gibbs was also awarded "Dancer of the Year" and won many gold awards. After her graduation from the National Ball of Canada, Courtney went to Holland to perform with Jiri Kilian's Netherlands Dance Company. She is presently back in Canada performing for the National Ballet of Canada.


Ayla Kaminski

Ms. Kaminski began her training with Today's Dance Center in 1991. During her time here, she started as a Dance Company Alternate and eventually became a soloist. Her performances, both in groups and as a solo dancer, earned many awards for the Company. Ms. Kaminski also spent here summers studying dance outside of the studio in programs with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Charleston Ballet Theatre, and the Virginia School of the Arts. Ayla was also on the teaching staff at TDC for three years, where she taught in all of the disciplines offered at the studio. Recentlt, Ms. Kaminski graduated from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She plans to continue on for her Master's Degree and to one day become a guidance counselor.


Amanda Zweir

Amanda began her dance training at an early age in NJ and then moved to Australia and then back to the U.S. Upon her return, she continued her training and came to Today's Dance Center in 2002. While at TDC she was a member of ART SEED, INC. performance group and then a TDC Company member. Ms. Zweir acquired numerous student teaching hours and then was granted her own classes to teach at TDC. She was an active assitant to our Creatabilities program for special needs children. As a 2005 graduate of TDC. Amanda will be continuing her education at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, preparing for a degree in Physical Therapy.


Jamie (McFerran) Halcom

Jamie (McFerran) Halcom, has been married for six years now and met her husband while working as a dancer at Lincoln Amphitheatre in 2001 and we tied the knot in 2007 just after she graduated with a BS in Applied Health and minor in psychology from Indiana University Bloomington. Ms Halcom then completed a dietetic internship at James J Peters VA (JJPVA) in Bronx, NY while simultaneously getting an MS in clinical nutrition from New York University. Jamie graduated from NYU and passed the national exam to become a registered dietitian (RD) in the fall of 2008 when she landed a job as the outpatient clinical dietitian at JJPVA in 2009. In July 2010, Jaime & Ken welcomed their son to the world. In 2012, She started as a per diem RD with Princeton Longevity Center in Shelton, CT and in the summer of 2013 became the part time RD with The Renfrew Center in Old Greenwich, CT. Presently she resides in in Greenwich, CT with her family.
Kelly McFerran graduated from her studies at Winthrop in 2008 and is an interior designer with Wilson Butler an architect firm in Boston, MA, where she works on design for performing art spaces, theaters, and cruise ships. She has also had the opportunity to expand her experiences as an interior designer with previous positions as a design consultant with Ethan Allen in Quincy, MA and Century Furniture in Boston, MA. This past fall Kelly returned to her roots as a dancer and competed at the Boston Ballroom Conference & Competition where she placed in the top five in all of her events. She currently resides in Medford, MA.


Liz Denniston

Ms. Denniston was a member of Today's Dance Center's Dance Company from 1994-1999. During her time here at TDC, Liz received numerous gold medals and special awards for outstanding performances. At the age of 10, she began attending summer intensive programs including Boston Ballet, Joffrey Mid West, Joffrey Ballet NYC, Charleston Ballet, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. In 1999, Liz graduated from TDC and went to Virginia School of the Arts on merit scholarship. During her time at VSA, Ms. Denniston performed in numerous productions and also performed in Paris, France. Liz then graduated high school and was accepted into George Washington University in Washington, D.C. as a Communications and Dance Major. Due to her strong ballet and modern technique and performance level, she was awarded the highly selective Presidential Arts Scholarship for $48,000 from the GW Dance Department. Since being a full-time college student, Ms. Denniston has performed featured roles at the University as well as at the American College Dance Festival. She has traveled to Spain and studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria (2005). Liz's travels have exposed her to several forms of cultural dance which have sparked a new passion and understanding of dance history & styles from all over the world.



Jamison (Boynton) Slater

Ms. Boynton began her training at Today's Dance Center as a Petite Performer. She was a member of TDC's Dance Company for many years before leaving on scholarship to the Virginia School of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA. During her time at TDC, she was the recipient of numerous awards for her outstanding accomplishments. Jamison attended many programs including Houston Ballet, Ballet Met, and Charleston Ballet Theatre. After graduating from VSA, Ms. Boynton spent a year performing with the Charleston Ballet under the Artistic Direction of Jill Eathorne Bahr. She then joined Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and performed on ships including Vision of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas, and the Voyager of the Seas, where she was a featured flyer in their production. Ms. Boynton continued here career as an Equity dancer at Walt Disney World for their 2004 production of Celebrate the Season. She was just recently part of the original Parker Playhouse Cast, which is a new land project of Royal Caribbean.


Meghan French

Miss French was a member of Today's Dance Center's Dance Company for 1995-1998. During that time she performed and won numerous awards for her performances. She then graduated in 1998 to attend the Chicago School of the Arts as a Dance Major. After graduating from CSA, she was picked up by River North Dance Company. Presently, Meghan is performing for Hubbert Street II Dance Company, Chicago and is a full-time student at Loyola College.


Corey Isch

Ms. Isch began her training at Today's Dance Center many years ago. During her time at TDC she was an active member of the Dance Company where she won numerous awards for her group & solo work. She participated in numerous summer intensives including Charleston Ballet Theatre, Ballet Met, Southern Ballet Theater & The University of the Arts. Corey was also a charter member of the TDC Senior Dance Team and a member of ART SEED, Inc. Ms. Isch's experience did did not stop there. She was a student teacher, a substitute teacher, a special needs shadow, and was on the teaching staff at TDC. Ms. Isch is presently a full-time student at Montclair State University pursuing a degree in Dance where she most recently choreographed for their spring concert and is studying abroad at Queensland University in Australia.


Caitlin Hayes
 

Ms. Hayes has been an active member at Today's Dance Center for numerous years. She has spent the last five years as a principle dancer for TDC's Dance Company as well as student teaching, substitute teaching, and shadowing for our special needs program. As a member of TDC's Dance Company, Ms. Hayes has won numerous awards for her group & solo work. She has studied at many prestigious summer programs such as Virginia School of the Arts, American Academy of Ballet, Joffrey Mid West & Ballet Met. Caitlin is a 2005 graduate of TDC and will be going on to the Virginia School of the Arts to pursue a career in dance.

Kelly McFerran

Kelly McFerran began her dance training at Today's Dance Center, Inc. in 1985. During this time she was an active member of TDC's Company and a soloist whom won numerous awards for her outstanding performances. Ms. McFerran has studied at numerous reputable summer programs. She continued studying at TDC untill 1997 when she was accepted to the Virginia School of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA. In 2000, Ms. McFerran graduated from VSA after performing in Paris for the Millennium. From there, Kelly was offered a position with the Charleston Ballet Theatre in Charleston, SC. She also danced professionally with the J2 Performance Company where she was picked to dance for the "Darkness to Light" Campaign. Presently, Ms. McFerran is studying Interior Design at Winthrop University just outside Charlotte, NC.

Kristen Segin

Kristen Segin is a member of New York City Ballet's corps de ballet. She was born in Voorhees, New Jersey, and began her dance training at the age of four at Today's Dance Center in Medford, New Jersey. She went on to study at The Rock School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms. Segin participated in summer courses at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, during the summers of 2004 and 2005, and at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School during the summers of 2006 and 2007. She enrolled full time at SAB in the fall of 2005. Ms. Segin became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2008, and became a member of the corps de ballet in August 2009. Ms. Segin was a recipient of the Mae L. Wien Award for Outstanding Promise in 2007.


Dina DeJacomo

Dina began her dance training at Today’s Dance Center and was an active member of TDC’s Dance Company. During this time she acquired numerous awards and recognition for technique and performance. She continued her training at various summer dance intensive programs such as Virginia School of the Arts, Charleston Ballet Theatre, BalletMet, and Joffrey Midwest. She then went on to achieve her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University, where she was selected to perform in ‘Works A Foot’ and ‘Dance Works’. After graduation, Dina continued performing and landed a position with Disney Cruise Lines where she was featured as a dancer. Her ships include, The Disney Dream, The Wonder, and The Fantasy where she has traveled to places in the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii. Dina is an active member with KAOS Dance Company & Andrea Mycheals Dance Project as well as administrative assistant at TDC. Presently, she is touring with the Brad Ross show "Unbelievable" as a dancer/magicians assistant.
